The Aspire Higher Volleyball Club Promise

We promise to remain small realizing that bigger is not better and that greatness is achieved by extreme attention to detail. 

Your daughter will never be a number or lost in the shuffle.  Our goal is to provide an excellent training experience and competitive season for all AHVC players.

We promise to provide the highest level of coaching with an extreme focus on fundamentals and technical skill. 

We believe in teaching a holistic approach to volleyball.  We do not believe in the “pigeon whole” approach to training.  We focus on utility play with specialized positioning.   What that means is we teach all players to become highly proficient with all fundamentals – serving – setting – hitting - passing and digging – then a specialized position i.e. middle hitter etc.  Simply put, if a player can hit, serve and pass they are going to spend more time on the court and be a more versatile player.  As seasons change what may be asked of a player from coach to coach will also change.  If they are a utility player they will always have a spot on the court and increase the opportunity to stay in more rotations.  At the end of the day every player wants to stay on the floor as long as possible and contribute as much as they can to their team. 

*NOTE: National Teams and Academy Teams receive the same quality of training and practice schedule.  The National Teams attend two more qualifiers than the Academy Teams. 

We promise to help facilitate the development of a positive self image as well as the athletic development of each player. 

A positive self-image and solid self-confidence will make the difference between fizzling out at the end of a tournament or coming back from a five point deficit and taking the match.  To achieve it you must believe it.  Your daughters are all seen first as people then as players.  This philosophy is upheld and at the root of all Aspire Higher Volleyball programs.  “No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care”.  Here at Aspire Higher Volleyball we see this sport not solely as a game but as a way of life and that all major lessons of life can be learned on the court – team work – dependability – honesty – integrity and conflict resolution just to name a few.  Don’t settle for less – Aspire Higher!!!

We promise to provide a cutting edge approach to volleyball and sports as a whole. 

Our staff includes a sports psychologist, a sports nutritionist, and a physical trainer.  Parents and players will have mandatory meetings with each of these specialists along with access whenever necessary.  We also have a Coaching Director, and Executive Director, an Administrative Director/ a Director of Club Relations and an Administrative Asst.  All of the Aspire Higher Volleyball staff members are committed to making this a phenomenal experience for players and parents a like. 

 We offer a National Team and an Academy Team for 13’s, 14’s, 15’s and 17’s. 

*Qualified 16 year old players will have the option of playing up for a 17’s team.  We encourage all players 16 years of age to come and try out.  We are operating in both Bradenton and Clearwater so that we can best serve all AHVC participants.
